You
miss more than two General Membership Meetings:
You will receive notification from JLFH Placement
Chair indicating you will need to
make up a meeting by attending a Board meeting.
If a League member cannot participate in a DIAD activity, the individual may reschedule one (1) time for a different DIAD activity if they notify a Community Research Co-Chair no less than 72 hours in advance of the original DIAD activity. If the member cancels less than 72 hours or cancels more than once, that member must pay-out ($40) of their DIAD. (Exceptions will be made in emergency situations.)
You
wish to take a Leave of Absence or Maternity
Leave: You are responsible for contacting JLFH
Placement Chair to make these arrangements.
(Please refer to the Bylaws regarding length
of absence, etc
)
You
wish to change to Sustainer status: Notify JLFH
Corresponding Secretary. You
are eligible for Sustainer after five years
as an Active member.
You
need to report a change in address or telephone
number or you would like to add new information
such as cell number, fax number, email address,
etc: Send changes in writing or email to JLFH
Corresponding Secretary.
You
are moving away: Contact JLFH Corresponding Secretary and your committee chair.
Please indicate if you are interested in transferring
your membership to another League.
You
wish to propose a candidate for membership: Contact
the Membership Development Chairs with the individuals name
and contact information.
You
need to make a purchase for League use: Contact
your committee chair for approval of the purchase.
Once approved and purchase is made, complete
a Reimbursement Request Form, attach the receipt
and submit to JLFH Treasurer
for reimbursement. (reimbursement form.)
You
wish to pay your dues: Dues of $100 are due on
or before April 1st and are payable to JLFH.
Please contact JLFH Treasurer-Elect regarding dues payment questions
or concerns.
You have an item for the monthly "News from JLFH" on the web site home page: Contact Communications Chair. Provide information to
her in writing or email by posted deadline (announced
at General Membership meetings), or approximately
one week before needed.
You have a topic of discussion to bring to a Board or General Membership meeting: Contact JLFH, Recording
Secretary so that you can be included on the meeting
agenda.
You
have a question regarding League procedures:
Consult the JLFH Bylaws/ Standing Rules. For
further questions, contact JLFH President-Elect.
You
are unable to fulfill a service requirement or
financial obligation: Consult the JLFH Bylaws
regarding make-up options and/or the Placement
Chair. You are responsible for making
alternative arrangements with the committee chairs
in which you were unable to fulfill the requirement.
The Executive committee will review special circumstances.
You
are dissatisfied with your current placement:
Contact JLFH Placement Chair to discuss
placement options. Another placement can be
considered, if appropriate.
You
wish to nominate an Active member for a Board
position for the upcoming year: Contact JLFH
Nominating Chair with your
nomination. You may also self-nominate.
You
are contacted by the news media in reference
to JLFH: Contact JLFH President
regarding any requests for information or
a press release.
