Welcome to the Junior League of the Flint Hills!  It is my distinct pleasure to serve as the 2009-10 League President.  I am humbled and honored to be at the helm of such an incredible group of talented women.  Together, we volunteer to make fantastic jlfhthings happen in the Junction City, Manhattan, and Wamego communities.

The Junior League of the Flint Hills (JLFH) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.  Our league’s journey began in May 1988 as the Flint Hills Junior Service League.  The planning and hard work of several dedicated and visionary women allowed our league to be officially recognized as the Junior League of the Flint Hills in April 1998.

We are proud of our affiliation with the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. and 292 other Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Great Britain.  Our own membership continues to grow, and our reach into the communities extends further with each New Year.  Either by raising money to support JLFH projects, or by working directly with community organizations, our members contribute their time, talent, and passion to directly impact the lives of those in the Fint Hills region of Kansas.

Please explore our website and learn more about the JLFH.  We offer information about our mission, values, and vision as well as community projects and fundraising efforts.  And always, feel free to contact us at info@jlfh.org

Kind regards,
Kerry Wefald
