• Road to the Bowl
For 2011, we have a goal of raising $10,000 which surpasses last year’s donations of $8,000. Road to the Bowl is a fundraiser that sells raffle tickets for a chance to win a KSU bowl game trip (or $1,000 in non-bowl game years). This is an Alumni Bowl Package worth $4,000. All donations go to aiding literacy in children in the Wamego, Manhattan, and Junction City communities.
• Next to New Sale
This is a sale of gently used items open to the community. All donations are made by JLFH members and all donations are used to fund the JLFH giving back programs.
• Winter Runderland
All funds raised from the Winter Runderland 5K race will be donated to the Crisis Center in Manhattan. The goal for 2011 is 225 runners. This is a partnered initiative with The Manhattan Running Company.
