President's Letter

Welcome to the website of the Junior League of the Flint Hills! We are an organization of women dedicated to making the communities of Manhattan, Wamego and Junction City a better place to live by training our members to be effective, meaningful volunteers in the community.
The Junior League of the Flint Hills is a membership of actives and sustainers totaling 117 women dedicated to the long standing tradition of Women Building Better Communities. In our history, we have committed many hours to multiple agencies in order to better our communities.
Our fundraisers are vital in helping to serve the needs of our community. Our two largest fundraisers are Road to the Bowl (Sept to December 2011) and Next to New Garage Sale (April 2012 in Manhattan). These fundraisers provide the needed resources to support our community involvement. To attend or donate to these events, please check out our website for further details.
To our valued members, thank you for your continued friendship and dedicated service. I encourage you to be a friend and bring a friend. Encourage those you think will enjoy an experience of friendship and service to join us.
